Rumours Fleetwood Mac Buxton Opera House 27th Jan 2015

It was a cold night up in the hills of Buxton UK, but we were soon warmed up by a stunning performance.
Buxton opera House is a wonderful old building and has the show began with a short video message from Mick Fleetwood, endorsing the night act, we just had to be in for a good night!
With the first part of the gig lasting about a hour, we were treated to a mixture of songs ranging from a couple of tracks from the 1977 album Rumours,( which became their best selling album) to Tango In The Night and just for good measure some of Stevie Nicks songs from her solo career, Landside being a particular favourite of mine and very well executed it was.
The second set started with the band, minus the 2 females at this stage, to perform the 30 mins of the old blues Fleetwood Mac, which included O Well and the bands number one hit from the late 60s “Albatross”, not one of my favourite s , but again another brilliantly performed track. Then the return of the two females saw them picking up where they left off , with more tracks from from Rumours and Tango In The night and ending the night with the superb Tusk.
If you can get to see the real deal, then have no fear these guys will take you bank to your youth and with every note bang on, they are well worth it.
