Super female fronted band with a diverse range from pure metal to hard rock/pop. I love the real deep grunge sound mixed with the modern rock/metal of to day, this gives them the edge which makes you bolt up from the first note. Vocally supreme, Lyrically fantastic and the music oozes bags of awesome. These guys are a must for any collection.
A band that truly demands your undivided attention as soon as the first chord is struck, along with “roof rattling drums,” Roulette is a band that “can rock any house”! Formed in 2011, Roulette is an all original, female fronted quintet with one foot firmly planted in Metal and the other in what could be called, “Power-Pop.” Delivering an all out assault on your senses from beginning to end, Roulette has audiences banging their heads, raising their fists, and singing along to their catchy choruses. There is definitely a sense of anger and the “we won’t take it anymore” attitude with lyrics that bite with sarcasm. Lyrically, Roulette speaks to the frustrations of growing up in an undefined generation with an uncertain future. The growling bass, rabid duel guitars, explosive drums, and powerful vocal components deliver the message that one could triumph even through the darkest of times. Roulette released their debut EP titled “BrainDead” on November 15th, 2014. The EP was recorded, produced and mastered at Lakehouse Studios in Asbury Park, NJ . It features a guest appearance by Zach Moyle of punk rock trio, Lost In Society. The albums artwork was hand drawn by artist, videographer, and musician Kris Night of Nightcast Productions. Roulette has played throughout the tri-state area at many popular venues opening for national acts such as, Warrior Soul, Faster Pussycat, Don Jamieson of VH1’s “That Metal Show”, Cycle of Pain and more. Roulette also played festivals such as the popular Jersey Shore Fest 2014 in Seaside, NJ, Elephant Talk Indie Music Fest in Atlantic City, NJ and Operation Anarchy 2 in Long Branch, NJ.
