Great rock band with some awesome sounds indeed keeping good old rock at its best, reminding us of the Manic Street Preachers or Audioslave they definitely have that cool 90’s influence about them . Vocally fantastic, Lyrically superb and the music is pure alive and excellent.
Bridges Burnt is a modern rock band hailing from the desolate cracks of northern Missouri. Formed in 2007, the band initially started as a competition band, but soon realized the potential was much greater considering the diverse talent which infiltrated the practice room. Along with influences from bands such as Tool, Audioslave, Shinedown, and Sevendust, Aaron Franklin (vocals), Chris Cowell (guitar), Dan Woody (bass), and Toby Puffer (drums) brought experience from previous bands that make Bridges Burnt one of the most noticeable rock acts to come out of northern Missouri. The band released their debut CD on March 22, 2014, and are creating an ever-increasing fan base with their mesmerizing live performances. The band won a “Cover Wars” competition in Kansas City (2012), which immediately began to open doors for the group. The guys scored opening acts with the “chainsaw” rockers Jackyl, up-and-coming national act Like A Storm, and the ‘80s hair-rockers, Great White and Warrant. Bridges Burnt has expanded to a more regional footprint with their live performances that includes Kansas City, St Louis and Des Moines. Most recently the group moved on to the finals of the “Battle for Freaker’s Ball”, which was a competition in Kansas City for an opportunity to open 98.9 (KQRC) The Rock’s “Freaker’s Ball” in 2013. They competed against primarily Kansas City bands where they finished 2nd out of 34 bands. The band is gearing up to make 2014 a record year of playing shows and writing music, with their first opening spot on a national ticket in 2014 being with Rehab in March!
